Welcome to The Royal British Legion's Remembrance Travel tours

As the National Custodian of Remembrance, The Royal British Legion and its travel subsidiary, Remembrance Travel, invite you to journey with us to explore, to rediscover and to remember the bravery and sacrifice of our Armed Forces.

For 2013 we have a new travel partner, Newmarket Holidays, one of the UK's largest independent tour operators. Our Journeys of Remembrance always endeavour to strike a balance between the content of a traditional Battlefield Tour and the purpose of a personal pilgrimage. Each tour is accompanied by a Support Party, consisting of a senior member of the Legion, an experienced guide/tour manager, a Standard Bearer and a medic, to assist with the Acts of Remembrance which make our tours unique.

In particular, this year we commemorate the 70th Anniversary of RAF 617 Squadron, the 'Dambusters' and Operation Chastise. And there are of course, our regular tours throughout Europe, North Africa and the Far East.

Demand for places is, as you would expect, always high, so reserve your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Our Journeys of Remembrance are, unlike many other tour providers, not based on profit but rather provide an opportunity for families, friends and all who are interested, to have the opportunity to visit these poignant reminders of past conflicts. We hope you find something of interest in this site and look forward to the pleasure of your company on tour.
